Stepping Down

I have abdicated the guild leader position to the trio of Kremit, Nicci, and Crip. These three will now bring the guild into new perspective ont he server making it a driving raiding force.

Guild Leader Albus Lupus to Retire

This is to announce my retirement as Guild Leader. It is not something I want to do, but for the good of the guild it something I should do. I have noticed as I have moved into the pacific time zone that my play time is much later then most that and I use to get on around 8PM but it keeps getting later and later as my 4 year old is getting to bed later and later, and we need someone to be on all days at or around the same time the majority of our guild is on.

I have never been on the PvE server and as you all know “Luper” has been leading the pack, hence forth his official title on the PvE server (if it is not already) will be Guild Leader.

PvP Maj
During my sick time and continuing on during my attempts to get back into the swing of things Maj has covered for me. He will now be (officially) the guild leader on the PvP side.

Vanguard Update #1

Whether it be in the desert sands or the swamps of the Deadlands, Vanguard Game Update #1 brings you some dirty villains to fight, new weapons to kill them with, and new places to kill them in!

On Tuesday, March 6th 2007, Vanguard Game Update #1 will go live. It will be a much larger patch than usual as not only will there be new content but a great deal of additional art as well. Update #1 includes:

Dozens of new weapon models
Six brand new NPC races to battle
Two new mid to high level adventuring areas
Nine dungeons with revamped art and/or lighting

[81k] Recruitment is once again active

Interested players that wish to join our guild must be on the Varking Server ("team" ruleset) on the Order of Alurad side. Any race available any Class. You must fill out the "[81k] Join Guild" applicaion (above) as well as face some other challenges both in game and out.

January 30, 2007 is the offical open date.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes Open Beta will close on January 23

Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games Online announced today that the Vanguard: Saga of Heroes open beta will close on January 23 at 11:59 p.m. PST. In anticipation of the January 30th launch of the fantasy-themed MMORPG, the servers will be shut down, and all beta character profiles will be transferred to a test server. The test server will open after launch with timing to be determined.

For those who have pre-ordered Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, early access will be granted to the live servers before the official release date. More information regarding the early access will be released shortly.

Players can now pre-order Vanguard: Saga of Heroes digitally and at retail. Additionally, gamers that pre-order retail versions will receive an exclusive endurance buff scroll that will allow their character to sprint for longer periods of time (one per account).

Vanguard released to retail outlets January 11, 2007

San Diego, CA - January 11, 2007 - Sony Online Entertainment and Sigil Games Online today announced that the upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game Vanguard: Saga of Heroes will be released to retail outlets across North America and Europe on January 30, 2007, for the suggested retail price of US$49.99. A limited edition is also available for a suggested retail price of US$89.99.

Currently in beta, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes features vibrant environments reminiscent of oil paintings, a robust character customization tool and three distinct spheres of advancement in a seamless world without zoning or instancing.
